Efficient instant drying solution for liquid materials

Liquefied petroleum gas centrifugal spray dryer is widely used in food, ceramics, and chemical industries. The equipment adopts mechanical centrifugal atomization technology to achieve instantaneous evaporation of 95%-98% moisture, resulting in uniform particle size and good fluidity of the finished product. It supports customized hot air distribution systems, simplifies the production process, and improves product quality.

1. Product Overview: The Ultimate Drying Form for Liquid Materials

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Centrifugal Spray Dryer is one of the most widely used liquid material drying equipment in industry. It uses a high-speed rotating centrifugal atomizer to instantly atomize solutions, emulsions, suspensions, or paste-like materials into micron-sized droplets, which then undergo full heat exchange with high-temperature hot air. This process directly converts complex liquid raw materials into powdery or granular solid products with uniform particle size distribution and excellent flowability, perfectly preserving the original activity and solubility of the materials.

2. Core Working Principle

The working process of this equipment is mainly divided into three stages:
  1. Centrifugal Atomization: The feed liquid is transported via a peristaltic pump to the mechanical centrifugal atomizer at the top. The atomizer maintains high-speed stable rotation under gear transmission (typically up to thousands to tens of thousands of revolutions per minute), flinging the liquid out to form an extremely fine hollow cone-shaped liquid film.
  2. Instantaneous Drying: Clean hot air generated by the combustion of liquefied petroleum gas enters the drying tower tangentially through the adjustable hot air distributor, making contact with the atomized droplets within milliseconds. Due to the greatly increased surface area of the droplets, 95%‑98% of the moisture evaporates instantly.
  3. Gas-Solid Separation: The dried powder descends with the airflow to the discharge port at the bottom of the tower. The exhaust gas containing fine powder enters a cyclone separator and a bag filter for collection, while the purified gas is discharged.

3. Equipment Functions and Technical Features (Key Features)

3.1 Rapid Drying, Protecting Heat-Sensitive Substances
Thanks to the huge specific surface area and extremely short drying time (typically only a few seconds to over ten seconds), the surface temperature of the material always remains below the wet-bulb temperature. This makes the equipment particularly suitable for drying heat-sensitive materials (such as enzyme preparations, probiotics, vitamins), effectively preventing the deactivation of active substances.
3.2 Excellent Physical Properties of the Product
The finished product exhibits excellent uniformity, flowability, and solubility. By adjusting the atomizer speed and hot air parameters, the particle size, bulk density, and final residual moisture content of the product can be precisely controlled to meet the stringent requirements of different downstream customers.
3.3 Simplified Process Flow, Reducing Production Costs
It realizes a one-step production of "liquid in, powder out". This eliminates subsequent processes such as crushing, filtration, and granulation, greatly shortening the production line and reducing labor and equipment investment costs.
3.4 Stable and Reliable Mechanical Structure
  • Gear-Driven Atomizer: Compared to belt drive, gear drive provides more stable rotational speed, ensuring a concentrated droplet size distribution and avoiding excessive fine powder or large particles.
  • Sanitary Ventilation Elbow: The sanitary steel pipe elbow manufactured using one-shot forming technology has a smooth inner wall with no dead corners, completely eliminating material adhesion and blockage.
  • Adjustable Hot Air Distributor: The direction and angle of the airflow can be flexibly adjusted according to the material characteristics, ensuring optimal relative motion trajectory between the hot air and droplets, maximizing drying efficiency.

4. Broad Industry Applications (Application Industries)
