DSH series double screw conical mixer is a new type of mixing equipment, which is widely used for mixing various powdery materials in pharmaceutical, chemical, feed and other industries. The machine's rotation is completed by a set of motor and a cycloid pinwheel reducer. It uses two screws for asymmetric stirring, which makes the material mixing range wide and the mixing speed fast. It is more suitable for mixing materials with large proportions and large mixing ratios.

Working principle:

The mixer is rotated rapidly by two asymmetrical spiral blades, and the material is lifted upward, forming two asymmetrical spiral material flows from bottom to top along the barrel arms. The spiral revolution driven by the rotating arm causes the material outside the spiral to enter the envelope of the stud to varying degrees.

Part of the material is staggered and lifted, and the other part of the material is thrown out of the stud, so as to achieve continuous renewal and diffusion of the material in the entire circumferential direction. The two streams of material that are lifted to the upper part merge towards the central recess, forming a general downward material flow, replenishing the cavity at the bottom, thereby forming a convective cycle.

Due to the complexity of the above-mentioned movements, the materials are evenly mixed in a short time, and the mixing degree is high.

The male and female rotation of the screw causes the material to produce compound motion in the cone, which mainly produces four forms of motion:
1. The spiral revolves along the wall, making the material move in a circular manner along the conical wall;
2. Spiral rotation causes the material to rise in a spiral from the bottom of the cone;
3. The combined motion of the screw and rotation causes part of the material to be absorbed into the spiral cylindrical surface and at the same time, due to the centrifugal force of the screw rotation, part of the material in the spiral cylindrical surface is discharged radially towards the cone;
4. The rising material falls due to its own gravity. The four movements produce convection, shearing, and diffusion in the mixer to achieve rapid and uniform mixing.
